nyc inmate lookup: Ok, so you want to find a loved one in Rikers Island? Or, you want to conduct an inmate lookup?
Step one: Go to this link: http://a073-ils-web.nyc.gov/inmatelookup/pages/common/find.jsf
Step two: Type in either the inmates name or book & case number, or NYSID number.
Here is a hint: if you’re having trouble finding someone, just type in only their last name, or only their first. You’ll get a list of those matching and can search from there.
Step three: From there you should find who you are looking for.
Monday’s post will be all about how to send money to inmates. There are many myths and rules that we will discuss. Also remember, the above steps are note for those incarcerated in other facilities. For instance, if you are incarcerated in brooklyn, but not in BKDC, then you won’t come up in that database. That is because that database does not cover federal facilities. It also doesn’t cover state facilities. Only NYC/DOC owned and operated facilities are searchable via the above link.
You want to search someone in a state facility? Click here! Want to search someone in a federal FBOP facility? Click here! Unfortunately, those are all of the inmate lookups we can find for now. If you have any other links, please feel free to leave a comment with them. That way we can add them to the list. That being said, if you need any help filing a notice of claim or intent to file a claim, please click here and fill out the form to the right.
